SMIT also organizes other events like independence and republic day celebration, teachers’ day, saptdhara activities, thalassemia screening and blood donation camps.  Students are rewarded with certificates which make value addition in student’s portfolio. It helps students to give the competitive environment and to increase, sharpen and polish students' skills and calibre.
